We took a three-day trip to Washington, DC, and our firth thing to do was a Pentagon tour. However, we had to get some lunch first and due to timing, it had to someplace close by. Luckily, at the mall just south of the Pentagon there was this place called Matchbox that was highly rated. When we walked in, it was fancier than I expected and it was also really busy, so we thought we might have to audible and go to a nearby burger joint. We were able to score some counter seating right away, though, so it worked out. A waiter took our order pretty quickly...(more)

Ever since a fateful day in the mid to late 80s when my dad said, "Whatever you want" and I got my first pepperoni pizza, pizza has been my favorite food. And that is exactly how I think pizza is best - pepperoni and cheese. Sure, some other toppings are fine from time to time, but for my money, I'll take extra pepperoni.
